‘La Vida de Noche’ Titles

Titles for the the short film La Vida de Noche and the logo for Team Dynamite.

These were created for a film thatwas part of the 2010 SA48HR Film Experience. Team Uncle Dynamite, led by Mistah Pete Barnstrom and Wes Barlow, drew the genre telenovela and the character Peril who is trying to quit smoking and produced this lovely bit of inanity, La Vida de Noche.

Besides the main title graphic, we created alternate, humorous titles.

This short won the first place and the Audience Award. Check it out below:

Blood Thirsty Thursdays Logo

Kelly Hammon, promoter of the Blood Thirsty Thursdays film series at the Alamo Drafthouse, asked Missions Unknown if we would make a logo for the event. Hammond had some specific requirements: a cinema screen, a cleaver and, of course, lots of blood. The result is entertainingly gory.

Madame Arielle Voodoo Site for SA48HR

This is a fake site I did for the short film “Voodoo Daddy”, written and directed by Pete Barnstrom. The film was shot for the SA48HR Film Experience.

The site only allowed the actor to type in the word “Daddy” and click a radio button.

Two, fully furnished, 925 sf, 1 bedroom apartments in a 1948 modernist building owned, remodeled and operated by Gari Sprott & Gunnar Burklund of G2 Interior + Lighting Designers.
